Healthcare.gov Open Enrollment

Newsletter: 2024, Issue 4

If your family needs private health insurance and your employer does not offer affordable plans, it’s open enrollment, the time to shop on HealthCare.gov, the ACA’s private health insurance marketplace. Open enrollment ends January 15 so there’s still time to shop for the best coverage. Most people can qualify for discounted plans that include comprehensive health coverage for their whole family. When you’re comparing plans, make sure the providers your family sees are in the health plan’s network, upcoming procedures or surgeries are covered as well as the regular prescriptions your family members need.

How to Apply: Online at healthcare.gov or call: 800-318-2596
