Family Voices of Wisconsin is an affiliate of National Family Voices, a national organization and grassroots network of families and caregivers for children and youth with special health care needs and disabilities. Family Voices promotes partnership with families–including those of cultural, linguistic and geographic diversity—in order to improve healthcare services and policies for children.
Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities started with the national Developmental Disabilities Act of 1970. BPDD is the Wisconsin board that is charged with bringing people together to solve problems, remove barriers and create statewide change for the developmental disability community.
