Ashley is devoted mother of two. Her son, Carter (4) has severe, level 3 autism. He is non-speaking and faces intellectual and behavioral disabilities. Her daughter, Audrina (7), came into the world as a NICU baby, and had challenges from a genetic deficiency.
She is an advocate for her own children’s health and disabilities as well as for Black mothers facing similar paths. Ashley brings a wealth of community skills to our organization, honed through years of dedicated engagement, social media management, and collaborative team efforts. She is a natural leader and community builder, actively organizes and manages groups like the Nurture Network of Southeast WI Families. Her commitment to fostering connections, reducing isolation, and empowering families makes her an invaluable asset in our shared vision for a more inclusive and supportive community.
