Family Voices of Wisconsin is an affiliate of National Family Voices, a national organization and grassroots network of families and caregivers for children and youth with special health care needs and disabilities. Family Voices promotes partnership with families–including those of cultural, linguistic and geographic diversity—in order to improve healthcare services and policies for children.
We serve as Wisconsin’s Family to Family Health Information and Resource Center and are supported in part by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under grant number H84MC21690-01-00. We are part of the statewide network serving Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs supported by Wisconsin’s Title V Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant.
Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities started with the national Developmental Disabilities Act of 1970. BPDD is the Wisconsin board that is charged with bringing people together to solve problems, remove barriers and create statewide change for the developmental disability community.
Wispact provides management of special needs trusts to provide more choices, more opportunities, and a better quality of life.
Through partnerships that address top risks to children’s health, the American Family Children’s Hospital works to improve children’s health and well-being.
