Ashley is a devoted mother of two. Her son, Carter has severe, level 3 autism. He is non-speaking and faces intellectual and behavioral disabilities. Her oldest, daughter Audrina, came into the world as a NICU baby, and works to overcome the challenges of a genetic deficiency.
Ashley is an advocate for her own children’s health and disabilities as well as Black mothers who face similar paths. She brings a wealth of community skills to our organization honed through years of dedicated engagement, social media management, and collaborative efforts. She currently manages the SE WI Moms of Neurodivergent Support Group, and has taken part in Kids Impact community, Foundation for Black Womenโs Wellness, Moms Mental Health Initiative, WI-BPDD alumni intern and is a graduate of Family Voices of Wisconsin’s Family Leadership Institute (WiFLI). Her commitment to fostering connection, reducing isolation, and empowering families makes her an invaluable asset to our shared vision of an inclusive and supportive community.
